Hourly Equipment Booking — Additional Terms of Service

Revision 4 — September 16, 2026. Supersedes all prior versions.

Permanent dated copy of this revision: alaskasaplow.com/terms-hourly-2026-09-16.

These terms apply to hourly loader and truck bookings, whether the property is residential or commercial, and are part of the Alaska Shear & Plow Terms of Service at alaskasaplow.com/terms.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Heavy equipment services billed under this addendum are secondary to your primary residential or commercial winter snow plowing contract with us. This supplemental heavy equipment booking is subject to all terms and conditions of your primary contract. This supplemental booking becomes an addendum to your primary contract and is incorporated into it. Please review your primary contract. All terms of service contained in your primary agreement, including provisions for limitation of damages, standards of service, release of liability, no third-party claims, and indemnity apply in full to this supplemental hourly equipment booking.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN AN HOURLY RATE BOOKING

This booking includes the specified equipment and the equipment operator, fuel, and transportation from our yard to your property and back. It does not include the cost of any additional laborers who might be needed to assist the operator. These will be quoted separately if needed.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Hourly service is booked against the payment method on file and billed on the last day of the month in which it is performed, unless otherwise stated in the quote. Every booking has a two-hour minimum billing amount due to the time and expense incurred in mobilizing and demobilizing heavy equipment. Time transporting equipment from our yard to your property and back is billed against the two-hour minimum. Time beyond the booked hours is billed at the same hourly rate and charged to the payment method on file or invoiced. Bookings cancelled before dispatch are not charged; once equipment has left the yard, the two-hour minimum is earned and due and owing.

SCHEDULING

Service is performed when equipment is available after contracted routes are complete, normally the same day or the following day. No arrival time is promised.

SCOPE

Plowing, stacking, or relocating snow within the area identified at booking. Ice breaking, sanding, de-icing, off-site hauling, sidewalks, entries, and hand work are not included unless separately booked. Snow is stacked at the edges of the plowed area as space allows.

SITE

The Client must mark hidden objects and move vehicles before service. The Contractor is not liable for damage to unmarked or snow-covered objects, for gravel displacement, surface marking, or damage to heaved or uneven surfaces, or for landscaping along the edges of the plowed area. Bare surface is not guaranteed on gravel or asphalt.

ALL RELEASE OF LIABILITY, THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS, AND INDEMNITY PROVISIONS IN YOUR PRIMARY CONTRACT APPLY TO THIS HOURLY EQUIPMENT BOOKING. PLEASE REVIEW THEM PRIOR TO COMPLETING THIS BOOKING.

In accordance with Alaska's electronic transaction laws, by accepting the quote and completing the hourly equipment booking, you agree that you have reviewed all contract terms of service and agree to them, that you intend to contract electronically, that you agree to be bound by all contractual terms, that you are authorized to execute this supplemental booking, have received electronic copies of all documents, and that you are the person named as the signatory.
